  The string and golden circles are done with gold foil, but the scan makes it black.

I cannot get the Zentangle Mosaic app on my tablet and phone.
I get the message that the app is not compatable with the Android version.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Moeilijk te begrijpen challenge deze week, maar gelukkig las ik de uitleg van Diana (Didish)
Nu ik weet wat er bedoeld word heb ik met veel plezier deze challenge getekend.
En nieuwsgierig geworden naar de rest van het boek heb ik het ook besteld.

I missed the challenge of last week because my husband was in hospital.
Now he's home recovering so there's more time for me to draw.
I have been looking for the tutorial of Eaxy before so I was very surprised to find it in the challenge.

The lovely tangle "Gourdgeous"is the challenge this week.
It was a pleasure to do this challenge.
I would never have thought of using Gourdgeous, but it was great fun.

Afgelopen week en Challenge # 287

The first of the month, and so the UMT tangle is "Dreamcatcher" by Daniel Lamothe.
The tangle itself already is a lovely mandala.
I drew the tangle in a double line with a purple Micron and finished with a pink Micron.

Paisley and "Relax Bro"

I have been thinking about the challenge this week  "Relax Bro"
I never have a plan before I start, always just begin without knowing where it will end.
I only draw when I have the time for it, never have to rush.
That makes it always relaxing.
I drew this one last weekend and have enjoyed  every second of it.

"Monotangle with Tripoli"

One of my favorite tangles "Tripoli" is the challenge this week.
This tangle can be used in almost every drawing.
Thank you Laura for this lovely challenge.

I always use this help with 22 ways to fill in the triangles of Tripoli.

For the UMT this month we will use the tangle Centre Square by Aleesha Sattva.

This was real fun to do!

I also made this Zendala in the weekend.

I also was planning to eat beets today so I could make a nice red spot on my paper.
But than I did not see what I could do with it.
I started drawing with a sepia Micron.
And as you can see.....this is not my thing.

Challenge #281

Tangle study ING
Not a tangle I use very often, but very nice to combine with other tangles.

Gems en tangles

Last week I have been drawing Gems with a friend.

Vorige week samen met een vriendin bezig gewees met het kleuren van edelstenen.
Wat een heerlijk verslavend werk is dat.
En deze week heb ik er met de Micron tangle versieringen omheen gemaakt.
De laatste was een experiment met een nieuw papier waarvan ik geen idee heb hoe het heet.
Het is een bruingrijs met een heel fijne struktuur.
De cirkels waar de stenen moesten komen heb ik eerst met gesso wit gemaakt zodat de kleuren helder bleven.
Ik ben heel blij met het resultaat.

A difficult challenge this week.
We should use the tangle "Knightstar"by Daniel Lamothe
His tangle is chosen this month for the UMT
It took me some time to find a good way to shade it, but I'm happy with the result.

Challenge # 277 and Quilting

"Running round in circles"
is the new challenge this week.

I made this ZIA with brown and orange Microns.

A few weeks ago I started a new Quilt.

For the centre I will make 35 "Hunter's Star" blocks of 12"  

The first 10 blocks are ready,  all handmade.

Quilting

A few weeks ago I started a new quilt completely by hand.
The pattern I use is the Hunter's Star.
Here the first 10 blocks of 12"  in two rows of 5 blocks.

Still many blocks to go.

Challenge # 275

Because Laura and her family are on vacation the Challenge post is done by Suzanne Fluhr.
The challenge is "Give Peace a Chance" after the Drama that happened in Dallas.

Challenge # 274

My country "Tis of Thee"
For this challenge I drew a vase in Blue and white with red tulips.
As many country's our flag is Red, white and blue.
Orange for the family-name (van Oranje) of our Royal Family.
The blue and white ceramic and tulips are typical Dutch.

We have been out for the weekend to Groningen.
Groningen lies in the north of The Netherlands and is a wonderful city with lots of cultural places.
Many students are working in cafe's and restaurants.
On saturday in the centre you will find many markets with all kinds of stuff.
We really enjoyed being there.

This morning, while my washing machine was working I finished the big Zendala I started more than a week ago.
