I made a study of gems in Jugendstill jewelery.

Finally I have time to try out drawing gems, a present for my douchter in law.
And I am totally hooked on it !
It's so much fun.

Tekenen met tangles

Challenge # 247

The first challenge of the month, and so it's UMT time
We should draw with the tangle African Artist by Tina Akua.

I used a black, purple and red Micron and shaded with colored pencils.

I made Christmas Stars to send to my family and friends.

 

Challenge # 246

The challenge of this week is brought to us by the very creative and inspiring Mr. Dilip Patel from India.
He was the first CZT in India.
The challenge is to create a tree using only one tangle.
For the first I used the tangle Tri-Bee and for the second one Finery.

Challenge # 245

Hollibaugh
Is one of the first tangles, and this week it's the tangle of the Diva's challenge.

I made a Hollibaugh Zendala, drew it with a brown and orange Micron and

shaded with colored pencils.

Tripoli 2nd

I could not resist making another one with Tripoli

Drawn with a grey, aqua and lime Stabilo fineliner, and shaded with grey colored pencil.

Challenge # 244

I love the challenge of this week.
We should use one of my favorite tangles "Tripoli"
It was great fun to draw this.

I drew it on a 15 X 15 cm. tile with a black Micron and shades with pencil.

Challenge # 243

What a lovely challenge this week.
"just a tiny taste" We should leave a space that is not tangled on the tile.
The results are amazing, look for more at the challenge of The Diva
I first made one on a white tile, and the second on Elefantenhaut. (looks like the renaissance tile)

As was expected the challenge this week is about the new tangle Gourdgeous.
Here's what I did with it.

                  With a black Micron

             With a dark brown Micron

I have not shaded them yet, and think it's better this way.

Challenge # 241

For the challenge of this week I found a photo that inspired me.

And this is what I did with it.

The tangles I used are from top to bottom:

Hollibaugh, Printemps, Scrumble, Purk, Shattuck, Diva-Dance, Ditto, Bloom and Florz.

Zendala dare # 113

It's been long ago since I joined the Zendala dare of The bright owl
I thought I would give it a try again.
Here's what I did with the template.

I love to work with the purple micron and shade with colored pencil.

Challenge # 240

This week the challenge is to draw something with autumn leaves.
I printed a photo of a beautiful colored leave and tangled around it with a brown micron and shaded with colored pencil in autumn colors.

Also this week I received a you-tube link from sakura about Arukas drawn by Molly Hollibaugh
It inspired me to draw on page 19 of my ZT book

Challenge #239

This week we can try the tangle "Munchin"\I almost never work on a black tile, but for this challenge I thought it would be great.
And what fun it is to play with it.
I have a busy week, and not much time to tangle, but i really enjoyed this well spend time.

Challenge # 238

Thanks Beate for sharing this lovely tangle.

Tri-Bee is chosen for the Use my Tangle this month.
Here's what I did with black Micron and a red colored pencil.

I also drew on Page 18 of my Little ZT book.

Red, orange, brown and black Micron, shaded with pencil and colored pencil.

Workshop kartonnage

Op zaterdag 17 oktober en zaterdag 14 november geef ik een workshop kartonnage.
We gaan een doosje maken met een stoksluiting.
Het doosje is geschikt om er je ZT tiles (9 x 9 cm.) in te bewaren.

De basis van het doosje word gemaakt van grijsbord en word bekleed met boekbinderslinnen.
Daarna word het afgewerkt met door jezelf getangled papier, de sluiting van katoenen lusjes en een stokje.

Er passen meer dan 50 tiles in, dus genoeg voor een hele tijd.

De workshops worden gegeven in Dronten van 13.30 tot 16.30 uur.  en gaat door bij voldoende deelnemers (minimaal 4 en maximaal 6)
De kosten zijn € 30.00 incl. materiaal en koffie of thee.

Challenge 236 B

Because the drawing on my watering can faded I decided to use the same tangles for page 17 in my little ZT book.
I drew it with a purple Micron and a sharp pencil and shaded wit colored pencil.

Challenge #236

This week we should tangle something unexpected.
For quit some time I'm planning to tangle my watering can.
So this was perfect for the challenge.

After I made the photo's I wanted to varnish the drawing, and what happened ...........  The drawing completely vanished.
The ink did not stick to the plastic of the watering can.

Unfortunately I made the photo first so I can show it here.

A very special morning and Challenge 235

This morning in Amsterdam I met Michele and Paul Beauchamp.
They are traveling through Europe and yesterday they arrived in Amsterdam.
Michelle invited me to meat with them and of course I loved to see them.
We had a wonderful morning
She gave me her new (signed) book "Today I will tangle" full of inspiration and wonderful Zentangle art. Thank you so much Michele, It took me longer than a cup of coffee to go through the book. :-)
It's a great inspiration ! ! !

This week we should use the tangle "CanT" by Chris Titus
Somehow I don't get this tangle right.
This is what I finally made with it.

Introductie/inschrijfmiddag

Challenge # 232

This week the guest blogger is Holly Atwater.
She gives us 3 meditations to make a Bijou tile.
I choose the first and made the Tripoli tile.
It's been nice and relaxing to try this.

I used a brown micron and colored pencil.

In the Zentangle newsletter from August we find a new tangle named "Zenith"
I did try some variations with "Zenith", It's only the beginning, I love the tangle and will try some more variations later.

Challenge # 231 and Sleutel / Key

For the challenge this week I drew  "Sharla Rella"  combined with "Bublz" from Lori Byerly
I hope I understoot the word Undulating (never heart it before) good enough for this ZT.

The next ZT  I drew in my little ZT book on page 16

Inspired by an antique key.

Dark and light brown Micron and shaded with colored pencil.

The background tangled with "Pixioze", the new tangle from Margareth Bremner and "Sevaw" from Emmy Chen.

We should leave some negative white space.
I immediately thought about a decorated label.

Challenge # 228

This week the Diva's guest blogger is Cari Sultanic.
The challenge is to draw all things natural and organic.
I love the tangle "Henna-Drum"and made a zendala with it.
The aquarelpaper is first colored with Brusho paint and tangled with light brown, dark brown and a green Micron.
I added some orange colored pencil in the flowers and finished it with a white gelly-roll.
