Challenge #384

The first Monday of the month it's UMT time.
This month's tangle is "Anthem" by Jody Genovese.
A perfect tangle to make a Zendala when you draw it in a circle.
And that's what I did.
I drew with a Micron and colored with blue and black.
The blue I choose because I find the tangle has a Icy look.
I love to play with light in this tangle.
This is my contribution.

New tangle "Ratoon"
The new official tangle from Zentangle HQ
I love tangles that have a Celtic look,  I draw Celtic knots already for about 20 years!

Zendala Moments # 1 and Challenge # 382

Here's my contribution for this first one.

For the Challenge from the Diva we should use a string of stripes.

I did a string with curved stripes and used a purple Micron and colored pencils.

Challenge # 380

Laura's back for us with a new challenge.
We should make a Zenbutton.
I already made a few of them last year.
This one is in black on white paper.

I borrowed a book from a friend and return it with this purple bookmark.

Challenge # 379

The last challenge this year.
I wish you all a Merry Christmass, expecially for Laura and her family for giving us Zentangle fun almost every week.

Also I am working on the 12 days of Zentangle .

I made the template myself on aquarelpaper.

       The first two days.

           Until day six.

When I finished the complete spinner I will publish it here.

Love the tangle 123 'O-Leary, the challenge this week.
I started with it in the centre of this ZIA

123 O'Leary is the tangle in the UMT this month.
I did not know this tangle yet but I love it already!
I did two tiles with it, the first one is on paper with a bit of a structure and the other one on normal drawing paper. I used brown and blue Micron and colored with colored pencils.

Challenge # 377

This week the challenge is to use the tangles Fengle and Poke-root
Love them both and is was fun to put them together.
Drawn on brown paper with black Micron and colored with colored pencils.

Challenge # 375

For the challenge this week we should use the tangle Burtz.
I drew a double tile on brown paper .
With a white Gelly-roll and black Micron I drew a variation of this tangle, and completed it with Articulated Moligon and other tangles.

"Onion Drops"
A lovely challenge with the tangle Onion Drops by Stephany Jennifer

   I drew it on grey paper with a black Micron, shaded with black and white pencil with accents in white gelly roll.

Challenge #369

"Orb-tastic"
For this week we should draw Orbs.
However I love to draw circkels I found this a dificult challenge.
I drew the first one surrounded by Poke root, and played with shadows in the orbs.
The second one with only Poke root with a few leafs.

Challenge #368

"Straight lines" is the challenge this week.

I think the curved string make a good balance with the straight lines.

Cubine, Huggins,Xircus Yincut and Spaanders are the tangles I used.

One of my favorite tangles is the challenge this week.
I drew it with a brown Micron and shaded with colored pencils.

The Diva is back from her vacation and started the challenges again, Thank you Laura!!!

It has been a very hot summer here in The Netherlands, but I have been drawing anyway as you can see in earlier posts.

Here's my contribution for this weeks challenge.

     Hollibaugh, Crescent Moon, Poke root, Onamato, Printemps and Meer.

The UMT for this month is the tangle "Pickpocket"from Thomas Padros.
A difficult tangle, and also difficult to combine with other tangles.
Here's my contribution drawn with my new Micron PN pens (great pens) and shaded with colored pencils.

Monotangle "Paradox"

Challenge # 353 and Zendala in purple

For the challenge "Heart Zendala" I drew on pink cardstock with a purple and pink Micron.
I have not yet shaded this one, I like it this way, what do you think?

Also with the purple pen I drew the Zendala on white paper and colored with colored pencils.

Challenge # 349

Rumpus is the new tangle and for this week the challenge from The Diva

A wonderful new tangle with many possibilities.

On the 3rd of January  I already posted this ZIA with Rumpus.

Challenge # 347 and ZIA 30 X 30 cm.

For the challenge I made the string with a little box, drew it 3 times on my tile.

The first weeks of 2018 I drew a ZIA 30 X 30 cm.
Just a bit more than a Opus tile.
I drew it with a black Micron 01 and shaded and colored with my FC Polychromos.
It took several hours but I am very happy with the result.
