Tranzending

In the newsletter of Zentangle HQ they showed us how to do  "Transzending"

I tried to do this with a tile I drew last month.
I don't think it's an improvement, but it was fun to do.

Sorry, but I don't understand the challenge at all.
So I decided to do a tile with the tangles Marasu and Tripoli.

Challenge # 332

Two Squared

For this challenge I glued two Bijou tiles on a dark, and two on a purple tile and draw diagonal on the tiles.
To see it right your should turn the tiles diagonal.

      Elefantenhaut tile and 2 white Byou size tiles.

    This corner under.

    Purple tile and 2 white Byou size tiles drawn with purple and black Micron,

    Colored with Prismacolor pencils.

New tangles "Eggs and Flevo"

Two new tangles

Here two new tangles I designed.
The first one I give the name Eggs.
You can see why I choose this name.

The second one I gave the name Flevo.

(I always find it difficult to give my tangles a name)

Because I live in the province Flevoland in the Netherlands I thought this would be a good name.

I hope you like them, try them and make variations with them. 

Challenge # 331

"Petoskey stones from Michigan"

The challenge is given this week by guest blogger Jane Reiter.
We should be inspired by the Petoskey stones.
I never heard of them, They are amazing!!!
I decided to draw Crazy Huggins as the basis and see how to fill it in for the challenge.
I think it was perfect to draw the Petoskey stones in it.
I am very happy with the result.

Playing with the new tangle and Challenge # 330

Challenge # 330
This week Zentangle plates.
A challenge from the guest Jeanette Clawson.
This was a lot of work and I enjoyed every minute of it.
I used a brown, sepia and orange Micron and colored with Albrecht Dührer watercolor pencils.

This week we received the newsletter from Zentangle HQ with the new tangle  SPOKEN
I have been playing with it for quite a long time with these tiles as a result.
I drew on lilac paper, drawn with a purple and blue Micron and colored (shaded) with colored pencils.
This was so much fun to do, I love SPOKEN, so many possibilities with it.

The background I meandered with a sharp blue pencil, I hope you  can see that.

The next one is SPOKEN, but only the first part of the tangle. (without the crossing over) 

It gives a complete different effect.

This was so much fun, it took me several hours to make the both tiles.

Also love the combination of purple and blue on lilac.
